Our insurance does not cover the Goods, and we are unable to assist with insurance arrangements.
You are solely responsible for insuring your goods and we cannot provide insurance advice.

1. Scope of service
  • 1.1 Our transportation services are executed by independent carriers.
  • 1.2 Standardizing operations enables transportation that is both economical and fast.
  • 1.3 Parcels are transported as consolidated shipments and then sorted and moved with the help of automatic conveyors at depots and reloading points.
  • 1.4 On the day of the scheduled collection, it is your responsibility to make sure the carrier can pick up the correct goods from the collection address. Make sure you or a reliable representative is present in person when the item is picked up.
  • 1.5 It is recognized that our transit system is not appropriate for transporting delicate materials such as glass, china, ceramics, pottery, stoneware, fossils, antiques, and works of art. Therefore, we assume no responsibility for any damage incurred during transportation, regardless of whether it was due to negligence or other factors.
  • 1.6 Before proceeding with the shipment, we retain the authority to open and examine any consignment.
  • 1.7 The Carrier may attempt delivery no more than twice.
  • 1.8 The printout of the consignee's digital signature or, if relevant, the delivery note list that has been signed by the consignee suffices as proof of delivery.
2. International shipments and sanctions
  • 2.1 It is your responsibility to submit all necessary documents for the clearance of international shipments.
  • 2.2 If the intended recipient of the Consignment fails to pay any customs duty imposed by the relevant authority, the Sender shall be obligated to pay the customs duty prior to the release and delivery of the Consignment. If the sender fails to pay the customs duty, the contract will be disposed of.
  • 2.3 If you fail to obtain the correct license required under sanctions law, we will not accept any liability.
  • 2.4 If you attempt to send a parcel that does not comply with sanctions law, we may deal with the parcel as we see fit without incurring any liability to you or the recipient. We will be able to charge you for the cost of disposal and all other reasonable costs incurred in dealing with the goods.
3. DTD Express Refund Guidelines
  • 3.1 If you decide to cancel your order before collection, DTD will deduct a £15.00 cancellation fee and refund the remaining carriage cost. There will be no refunds granted after the shipment has left the country. To cancel your order, please contact us either by phone at 0203 761 6100 Monday-Friday 10.30am – 6:30pm or via email at info@dtdexpress.co.uk.
  • 3.2 Refunds are generally not given for delayed shipments, unless carrier negligence can be demonstrated, since transit times are not always guaranteed.
  • 3.3 If the item is lost, we will refund your carriage costs up to 100% and the goods up to $100. You won't get a refund or compensation for any damage.
  • 3.4 In the event of a claim or request for compensation regarding the lost shipment, please be advised that our investigation process may take up to 60 days. We will not issue any refunds or compensation until the matter has been thoroughly investigated.
  • 3.5 Should your parcel be returned to the UK due to insufficient packaging, incorrect documentation, or prohibited items, you will be accountable for the UK shipping fees and given a partial reimbursement for the overseas shipping fees.
  • 3.6 Customs are beyond our control. If the shipment is returned due to the consignee's failure to clear from customs, the shipper shall bear the cost of the return charges.
